Terms & Conditions

Purposeful Futures Membership - Last Updated: 8 February 2026

1. About Purposeful Futures

Purposeful Futures is a membership community operated as a partnership between A-Purpose and Touching Distance, both registered companies. All administration, billing, and platform access are managed by Touching Distance, registered in Switzerland.

By purchasing a Purposeful Futures membership, you are entering into an agreement with Touching Distance on behalf of the Purposeful Futures partnership. Throughout these Terms, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Purposeful Futures (operated by Touching Distance), and "you" and "your" refer to you, the member.

2. Membership Plans & Pricing

We offer three membership options:

The Early Bird plan is available for a limited period from 9 February 2026 to 23 February 2026. Members who purchase during this window will receive short onboarding communications ahead of the full community launch on 23 February 2026.

Early Bird — please note:

Early Bird members are charged in full at the time of purchase. Full platform access begins on the community launch date of 23 February 2026. The period between your purchase and the launch date is not deducted from your 12-month membership; your 12 months of access begins from the launch date. The Early Bird price of 216 CHF/year reflects a significant discount compared to the standard Annual rate of 264 CHF/year, equivalent to approximately 4.5 months free, as a thank-you for joining as an early adopter and helping us build this community from the ground up.

Why a 12-month commitment?

Building real community takes time. We're committing to showing up for you, and we ask the same in return. True belonging doesn't happen in 30 days.

3. Payment & Auto-Renewal

All memberships are charged at the time of purchase and auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually, depending on your plan). Your chosen payment method will be charged automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.

For Early Bird members, payment is taken immediately upon purchase. Full platform access will be provided from the community launch date (23 February 2026), with onboarding communications sent in the interim.

You may update your payment details or manage your subscription through the membership platform at any time.

4. Right of Withdrawal & Cooling-Off Period

In accordance with applicable EU and Swiss consumer protection regulations, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase. During this period, you may cancel your membership and receive a full refund, without needing to give a reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us at [email protected] with your name and purchase details. Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request.

After the 14-day cooling-off period has passed, the terms specific to your plan apply (see Section 5 below).

5. Cancellation

Monthly plan: You may cancel your monthly membership at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access until that date. No refunds will be issued for the current month.

Early Bird and Annual plans: These plans represent a 12-month commitment. Outside the 14-day cooling-off period described in Section 4, Early Bird and Annual memberships are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled before the 12-month term has ended. At the end of the 12-month period, the membership will auto-renew unless you cancel before the renewal date.

6. Platform Access

Upon purchase, you will receive onboarding information to help you prepare for the community experience. Full access to the membership platform will be granted from the community launch date of 23 February 2026.

We reserve the right to modify, update, or restructure membership features and content from time to time in order to improve the community experience. We will endeavour to communicate significant changes in advance.

Session Recordings:

Some live sessions, including deep dive sessions, may be recorded for the benefit of members who are unable to attend live. These recordings will be made available exclusively within the membership platform.

By participating in live sessions, you acknowledge that recordings may take place. We will always aim to respect the spirit of the community and will not record sessions that are explicitly designated as non-recorded or highly sensitive in nature.

From time to time, we may wish to use short clips or quotes from sessions for marketing or promotional purposes: for example, on our website, social media, or in materials about Purposeful Futures. We will always seek your explicit permission before using any content that features you. Nothing will be shared publicly without your consent.

Recordings are for internal members' use only and may not be shared, downloaded, or distributed outside the membership platform.

7. Intellectual Property & Content Usage

All materials, resources, recordings, and content made available through the Purposeful Futures membership (including but not limited to videos, worksheets, guides, and frameworks) are the intellectual property of Purposeful Futures, A-Purpose, and/or Touching Distance.

Your membership grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use this content for your own individual development.

This means:

- You may not share, reproduce, distribute, or make available any membership content to anyone outside the membership community.

- You may not record, screenshot, or otherwise capture live sessions or events for redistribution.

- You may not use membership materials for commercial purposes, resale, or to create derivative works.

We trust our members to respect this boundary so that we can continue to create valuable, original content for the community.

8. Guest Invitations

Members are welcome to invite non-members to attend specific events, such as our bi-annual community events. Guest access is limited to these designated occasions and does not extend to the wider membership platform, content, or resources.

9. Community Guidelines & Code of Conduct

Purposeful Futures is built on trust, openness, and mutual respect. By joining, you agree to uphold the following community standards:

Confidentiality: What is shared in the community stays in the community. Members must respect the privacy of fellow members and not share identifying personal stories, experiences, or discussions outside the group without explicit consent. This is essential to maintaining a safe and open space where everyone feels comfortable being vulnerable and honest.

Respect & inclusivity: Treat all members with dignity and kindness. Discrimination, harassment, bullying, or any behaviour that creates an unsafe environment will not be tolerated.

Constructive participation: Engage thoughtfully and supportively. This community thrives when members show up with an open mind and a willingness to both give and receive.

No solicitation: The membership space is not a venue for promoting your own products, services, or business unless specifically invited to do so by the community team.

We reserve the right to revoke membership, without refund, if a member's conduct seriously or repeatedly violates these guidelines.

10. Limitation of Liability

Purposeful Futures is a living community. Content, resources, and programming will evolve over time, shaped by member input and the needs of the community. While we are deeply committed to creating a meaningful and valuable experience, we cannot guarantee specific personal or professional outcomes from your participation.

Because the community is co-created and continuously developing, the nature, format, and availability of specific content may change. We will always strive to communicate significant changes and to deliver on the spirit of what the membership offers.

Purposeful Futures provides content and experiences for personal and professional development purposes only.

Nothing shared within the community, including discussions, resources, workshops, or peer exchanges, constitutes psychological, medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

Members are responsible for their own decisions and actions and should seek independent professional advice where appropriate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of Purposeful Futures, A-Purpose, and Touching Distance in connection with the membership shall not exceed the total fees you have paid in the 12 months preceding any claim.

11. Force Majeure

In the event that circumstances beyond our reasonable control occur, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemics, government restrictions, technical failures, or other unforeseen events, we may need to temporarily pause, delay, or adjust certain aspects of the community, programming, or platform access.

In such cases, we will communicate transparently and aim to resume or adapt the experience as soon as reasonably possible. These circumstances do not entitle members to refunds beyond what is required by applicable law.

12. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through the membership platform. Continued use of the membership after such notification constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Switzerland.
